Stow-aways! The captain appears to have secretly brought on board 3 additional employees, unbeknownst to me or to anyone else at the head office of Pequod Whaling Solutions Inc., as far as I am aware. This cadre will presumably be acting in an advisory capacity (under a “hench” classification, if you will), and it is said that they have knowledge of the white whale’s movements. For my part, this all sounds like gossip, which I have always found to be the most efficient means of obtaining necessary information, and so I will respect the captain’s preferences in this matter.
